Classic White Frosting Recipe
Yield: Approximately 3 cups of frosting
Serving Size: 2 tablespoons
Ingredients:
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 cups powdered sugar
2 tsp vanilla extract
2-4 tbsp milk
Directions:
In a mixing bowl, cream the butter until smooth.
Add powdered sugar gradually, mixing well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla extract.
Add milk, 1 tablespoon at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
Beat the frosting until light and fluffy.
Tips for Coloring: If you want to add some color to your frosting, use gel food coloring for vibrant shades. Add a small amount at a time until you reach the desired color. If using multiple colors, divide up frosting into smaller bowls and color with gels of choice.
