I know many of you love ranch just as much as me, but don't always love using your calories (or points for my WW followers) on the full-fat version. DO NOT FEAR! I have lightened up my favorite ranch recipe just for you without sacrificing quality or taste!
Tips for lightening up:
Substitute full-fat mayo with light or low-fat mayo.
Replace half the mayo with plain non-fat greek yogurt for added protein and fewer calories.
Use reduced-fat sour cream or plain greek yogurt instead of full-fat sour cream.
Opt for low-fat buttermilk to reduce overall fat content or use fat free (skim) milk.
Serving Suggestions:
This creamy, tangy ranch pairs perfectly with fresh veggie platters, salads, or as a dip for crispy chicken wings. It can also be drizzled over baked potatoes or used as a spread for wraps/sandwiches.
Pro tip:
For an even richer taste, make the dressing a day in advance to deepen the flavors. Adjust the consistency with additional low-fat milk if you prefer a thinner dressing.
How long does it last?
Homemade ranch dressing can be stored in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 7-10 days. Always give it a quick stir before using, as some separation may occur over time. Keep a lookout for anything suspicious such as mold growth, sour smells, or other signs of spoiling. I never recommend keeping more than 10 days.

Ultimate Ranch Dressing (Lightened) Recipe
Yield: 2 cups (16 servings)
Serving size: 2 tablespoons
Ingredients:
1 packet Hidden Valley Restaurant Style Ranch Mix
1 cup light mayo (or use half mayo + half Greek yogurt for added protein)
1/2 cup reduced fat sour cream
1/2 cup low-fat buttermilk (shake well before measuring)
1 tsp fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Directions:
Combine everything in a medium bowl and whisk until well incorporated.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld. Transfer to an air-tight container (I like using mason jars) for safe storing. Store in the fridge for 7-10 days.
